1. Schedule your post on Reddit

Schedule your post on Reddit in advance. Your post will appear as soon as you schedule it. It’ll have a sign "Coming Up [Your Date, Time]." People can start asking questions in advance. Schedule your session at least 1 day in advance.

2. Promote your AMA session on your social channels

Post on LinkedIn (or other channels) about your AMA after you schedule your post on Reddit. Your audience can start asking questions right away. Mention when you'll start answering their questions.

Your audience and the Reddit community should have time to leave their questions.

3. Host your live Ask Me Anything session

At the scheduled time, your post goes live on Reddit. You open your Reddit post and start answering questions. You can skip questions.

After you answer the questions and want to end your AMA session, press "End AMA." Edit your post and leave a sign-off message.

How long should my AMA session be?

Traditionally, AMAs are 1 hour long. If you want, you can answer longer. The live session ends automatically in 3 hours. But even after this, it's possible to answer questions.
